About Rising Roots Sanctuary
A home for remembering what has been forgotten, and reconnecting with your own intuition, power, and purpose.
Why Rising Roots Exists
Have you ever felt you’ve reached a point in life where the roles you’ve carried - caregiver, professional, partner, parent - no longer reflect who you truly are?
On the outside, life may appear successful or stable.
But on the inside, there may be burnout, grief, disconnection, or a quiet sense that something deeper is calling.
We have witnessed how powerful it can be when we’re given a safe and supportive space to pause, reflect, and reconnect with ourself and the world in a sacred and meaningful way. Rising Roots Sanctuary was created to offer that space.
Our Approach
We believe healing happens in relationship - with yourself, with others, and with the earth.
Our retreats combine trauma-informed therapeutic practice with earth medicine, mind/body/spirit connection, and nature immersion, always in service of integration, not just experience.
Our role isn't to direct your journey - it's to hold a safe, structured container where your own inner wisdom can emerge.
Sacred Reciprocity
Nature plays an essential role in the work we offer.
Our retreats are held in beautiful natural settings where participants can reconnect with the rhythms of the earth and the restorative power of the natural world.
We approach plant-based healing practices with deep respect for the intelligence of plants and the traditions from which these practices originate.
At Rising Roots Sanctuary we strive to honor:
• Land acknowledgment and respect for the places that host our work
• Education about plant intelligence and sacred plant traditions
• Practices of gratitude and reciprocity
• Stewardship of the land and environment
Nature is not simply a backdrop for retreat experiences — it is an active participant in the healing process.

Jessica’s work bridges clinical mental health care with spirituality, nature-based healing, and psychedelic-assisted wellness. She has spent years supporting individuals through trauma, grief, addiction, and major life transitions.
Jessica's path into this work was shaped by her own journey through depression, anxiety, burnout, and loss, eventually discovering her ADHD/neurodivergence as a strength- and by the spirituality she found through nature, intuition, and contemplative practice along the way.
She is a compassionate and empathetic plant medicine guide who incorporates somatic and energetic modalities, including Acudetox, into her work - with a particular focus on helping women reconnect with their intuition and reclaim their authentic voice.
